I can still remember sitting down with Crissy & Travis for our Final Consultation months ago. We typically get together at a Panera Bread for a cup of coffee and go over the final details of the big day: flower girls, ring bearers, final head counts, etc... This meeting had a couple new additions to the discussion. We spoke about possible props for the wedding. I always encourage our brides to have fun with their photography. The last thing in the world we want is for your wedding photographs to look like everyone else's. Bright colors, sunglasses, beautiful flowers, wonderful settings, we've worked with it all and every time something new and creative is added it opens up a world of possibilities and a LOT of fun! Crissy & Travis spoke of a John Deere tractor and an antique truck that they might be able to bring to the wedding. My eyes widened and the remainder of our consult was filled with "what if we...", "oh! and we could..." statements. Growing up in the small town of Tuscola, Illinois, I am very familiar with tiny places and the wonderful communities they typically have within them. In the town of Hayfield, Minnesota, there is a small, but beautiful church called Trinity Lutheran Church. It has a gorgeous balcony and a wonderfully quaint sanctuary. The ceremony was intimate and fit perfectly with the couple. Afterwards everyone went to the reception at La Quinta Inn in Rochester, MN. Seeing the results of the day only solidified what I knew about this couple from the start. They are incredibly fun to be around and especially fun to work with. All the best to you guys!
